Wake Up America; UNDERSTAND How Big A Trillion Dollars IS!
Million, Billion, Trillion have become just words to too many Americans. It is time to wake up and understand how large a Trillion Dollars really is. I will make a feeble attempt to give you a feel for how big a trillion dollars is by relating it to an hourly wage for a typical worker. As of June 1st the minimum wage here in Florida is $7.31 per hour. So let us use that as the starting point of our figures.
$7.31 per hour equals .12 cents per second. Now lets say that your pay becomes $1.00 per second, or $100.00 per second. How long before you make $1 Trillion. At one dollar per second it takes 31,688 THOUSAND years to reach $1 Trillion, which means that at $100 per second you would have to work 316 years to make a TRILLION dollars.
Remember these numbers are for just 1 Trillion in debt. Be sitting down, and have someone with knowledge of CPR close at hand, before you calculate your share of the $14 Trillion dollars of debt the country currently owes. And by the way it has gone up several hundred million in the time it took you to read this post.
